We welcome the infamous Carlos Villalobos and his friend Erica the hot cop to the program. Both have come in from the mainland to “talk story” with us here in Hawai’e. Remember the shy Icon from way back when? Well, he’s apparently disappeared. Carlos is a hugely successful song writer, producer, musician, and engineer. In fact he may be more successful than Dr. Trey himself! Wooooow. When Carlos works on a project, it turns into gold. You remember Esperanza from the Christmas show? We played Little Drummer Boy back then. Well this is the guy. Carlos gives his thoughts on the music industry, where its going and what we need to do to find success in it. He talks about how writing music for video games could be the best chance for survival and other types of music licensing. As usual, the podcast is filled with other banter, and of course the American Idol talk. Sanjaya is gone so now we’re all about getting rid of Lakisha Jones. Our plan is to encourage our listeners to vote for Jordin Sparks (she’s really good for a 17 year old) to see the arrogant Lakisha leave. Yes Katie, this is the one where we mention your name.
