This is the show before the big 100. Dr. Trey and The Icon are joined by the legendary Vern Brown who comes a bit late. Just wanted to let you all know that tonight we will be taping out 100th episode. That for us is quite an accomplishment. Remember when the podcast was supposed to be a show that was dedicated to the Hawaii Music Industry and how we would feature live music on every show? Wow, where have those days gone? Now the closest thing you get to live music (besides the occasional guest musician) is The Icon singing a line from some 70’s hit song. Don’t know how many of y’all are fans of the Blue Man Group, but I’ve been a fan for awhile now. I remember seeing this performance on America’s Got Talent, and was pretty blown away. The performed The Who’s Baba O Riley like you have probably never seen it performed before. Bran and I were at the studio last night talking about how amazing their first album called “Audio” was and continues to be. Check these guys out folks!
