UH Hawaiian Combo - Ka Himeni Ana Contest Winners
Temporarily named the UH Hawaiian Combo, this quintet has recently won this years prestigious Ka Himeni Ana Song contest. This contest is a song competition of unamplified old-style performances. This is a video clip of them practicing their award winning song, E Nani E, to record. In the background is Flip McDiarmid of Hula Records who offered up one of the prizes to the winning group and is the producer for this project. Congratulations UH Hawaiian Combo, you certainly deserve the win!
