This program has generally been about the real people of Hawaii and not the stuff you read in the newspaper about how there is no alternative thought. So, this is a chance for you to hear the real arguments regarding the UH Warriors and how some of us were actually disappointed in coach Jones (not for leaving Hawaii because this show was prior to his decision to leave, but rather for his overrated coaching.) So for the first 30 minutes of this program it’s just about all football talk, in the last 10 (if you would prefer to fast forward to that point) we discuss the ono shrimp from the shrimp farms in Kahuku. Congratulations to Hawai’i’s female supergroup Mighty J on winning the Hawai’i Music Award for Best Island Contemporary Album of the year. Did we ever doubt that they would deserve such an award? Mighty J’s album - Calling Out has already received huge critical acclaim and I believe this is just the beginning of the many awards and recognition they are due to receive. Who could expect less of a group that got it’s start on DoctorTrey.com.
