Episode 24 - We Are Now The Place To Be
  
It was bound to happen. The Doctor's Office Recording Studio is now "The Place To Be." Why? Well, Davey D, one the most influential characters in today's Hawaiian music industry joins us in studio! You've probably heard it before - "Davey D in the Place To Be." Not only is Davey a musician, but he is also the program director of 3 top rated Hawaiian music radio stations, and he has his very own Music Video program called "Overdrive Live" on OC16. As if that weren't enough, his production company called "The Place To Be Productions" has released 2 music video DVD's and is getting prepared to release another. Oh and did we mention that he is also an on air personality for KCCN FM100? Take a listen as he gives his thoughts on new ways to sell your music in Hawaii. Whew, thats a lot of stuff! On this 70 minute program, we dedicate 50 minutes to his interview. We also have a special guest host on this program, you may remember Bran The Icon from episode 8. Episode 23 - Please Stop Tha Rain
Ok, so we know it's been awhile since we've last put out a show. We are running a week behind, and we'd like to thank all of you that have written in to see if we're doing okay. Honestly, we have been a bit worried about the weather here in Kaneohe and if it would produce power surges, and this is the reason for the delay. This show was actually recorded about 2 weeks ago, but it's still a great one. Mailani Makainai of Keahiwai fame sits in the co-host to tha co-host chair this week, and she brings two wonderful guests with her. The first is the ever so shy "Queen Of Waimanalo" and the other a great undiscovered and unknown singer. It gives us a chance to reflect on how we all started in this industry. We touch on many different things during this program so we hope you enjoy it. Next week, our show will feature an interview with non other than Davey D of Overdrive Live and KCCN FM100.
